Bronwen’s Story

“I have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of overseas travel, but it was my first venture to Asia teaching English that was one of the highlights.

“I felt like I wanted to do something more for the world and looked into a variety of different volunteer programs and I found i-to-i. I had visited Cambodia last year briefly and I spotted the Teach and Care for children in Cambodia program - instantly I knew what I wanted to do.

“Having taken 6 months unpaid career leave from work, I am spending my months travelling through Africa and onto Cambodia, volunteering and teaching English. I have already met some amazing people and I am looking forward to using my TESOL skills in Cambodia very soon!”
